Apple Develops Software to Detect and Remove the Flashback Malware from Mac

For the fact that almost all the malware is designed to attack the computer of Microsoft Windows, Apple once declared that Macintosh (Mac) computers are free from the malicious software like viruses, worms, and Trojan, etc. However, a Russian anti-virus firms that recently more than half a million Apple computers have been infected with the Flashback Trojan, which changes the invulnerable legend.

Flashback Trojan is a new version of malware that can expose computer to be controlled by Hacker. Once it is installed, it will sent ”a message to the intruder’s control server with a unique ID to identify the infected machine“, said the firm Dr Web.

In order help Mac users keep away from the infection of Flashback, Apple released a Java update to fix “the Java security flaw for systems running OS X v10.7 and Mac OS X v10.6”. For the older versions’ users, Apple suggests them to disable Java in web browsers preference.
