Is it worth to buy an iPhone 5?

Apple officially unveiled iPhone 5 in Yerba Buena Center of San Francisco on September 12. The release of iPhone 5 didn’t give enough satisfaction maybe because of the previous rumors disclosure too many details or because of the little innovation comparing with iPhone 4S. Therefore, the discussion about whether it is worth to buy an iPhone 5 is heating up.

Just as rumor and leaked parts, iPhone 5 has the larger 4-inch retina display with 1136×640 resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. It is 18% thinner and 20% lighter than iPhone 4S. Meanwhile, A6-powered processor of iPhone 5 can double the performance of CPU and graphic card as well as accelerate the speed of loading application and taking pictures. And it is shipped with three microphones, which is said can reduce the noise around when you have a call. The biggest changes of iPhone 5 may be its dock connector “Lightning” and earphone “EarPods”. Moreover, the new generation iPhone will run on iOS 6 and support 4G-LTE.

However, compare with iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 is just the routinely upgrade of hardware. In fact, there are also some factors we should think. Although it is updated to support Panoramic photos mode, it still has the same iSight Camera with 8 mega pixel as iPhone 4S. Its new dock connector is not compatible with external devices on the market. If you want to use these devices, you need to pay extra moneys for a transition joint. Its interface and overall look are also similar to iPhone 4S, without much improvement.

Although many comments said the Apple has lost its brilliance of innovation, Tim Cook still claim it is the most powerful period of apple. Actually, the share price of Apple increases 0.33% after the conference of iPhone 5.
